Welcome to FUMC Saline
We are so glad you are thinking about visiting us. FUMC Saline is a place you can explore faith and get connected to great friends and ministries that make a difference. We gather in person and online every weekend. A good first step is to join us for worship on Sunday morning.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Parking
Our main parking lot is at the back of the building off Woodland Drive. A limited number of handicap parking spaces are located near the main entrance. You are welcome to drop off passengers under the portico especially during inclement weather.
Arrival Time
If you would like a quick tour of the building, plan to arrive about 10 minutes early. Enter under the portico and stop at the Welcome Desk.
What to Wear
Be relaxed or dress it up—we'll be happy to see you.
Teaching Style
Every worship service and Sunday school class involves a Biblically focused message that points to how God is calling each one of us to be people of grace and truth.
Communion
On the first Sunday of every month we celebrate Holy Communion together. You do not need to be a member of this or any other Church to participate. The juice and bread that we share represent the life Jesus gave up so that our sins could be forgiven.

What About the Kids?
Families are encouraged to worship together. Each service includes Children’s Time, a grace space area for quiet active play, activity bags for children, and nursery for babies through age 3. Faith Formation (Sunday School) is available for age 4 through grade 12 between services at 10:15am. Classes are also available for adults including a parenting class.
Nursery services for infants through age 3 are available at both services and during Sunday School.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Our Children's Ministry is programming from birth through grade 5 at FUMC Saline. The goal is to partner with parents on building a strong foundation of faith for children based on Proverbs 22:6, "Train children in the way they should go; when they grow old, they won't depart from it.".

STUDENT MINISTRY
The Underground is the Student Ministry for 6th through 12th grade students at FUMC Saline. Our goal is to provide students with the opportunity to learn about the Christian faith, grow in their relationship with Christ, and serve God in an atmosphere where students know they matter. Oh ... and we have a lot of fun doing it too! Weekly gatherings offer opportunities for faith, fun, and fellowship.
Service/Learning is an important part of our faith journey. The Underground Student Ministry provides opportunities for youth to be in service to others or their environment while learning about God, themselves, and their role in the world. Opportunities for service/learning happen within the church, around the local community, and on special trips throughout the year.
